Welcome North Texas Pop Warner Cheer & Dance. The mission of our cheer/dance program is to instruct and cultivate the lives and minds of young children on the importance of a relationship with God, education and solid citizenship by using the sports of cheer and dance. We also teach pride, respect and responsibility in self, family, and the community.
This organization and its volunteers are well respected within the community and nationwide and pride ourselves on being a step above the rest. Since the beginning of North Texas Pop Warner Cheer and Dance our volunteers have always whole heartedly put much time and effort into the lives of our "children". All the adult volunteers are certified through National Pop Warner, as well as student demonstrators who are High School students who have gone through the program and want to give back.
Our cheer/dance seasons consist of two parts "Year Round" and "Traditional" which involves some of the best youth football games around and some of the fiercest competition you would ever witness.
Pop Warner is different from All-Star cheer and other competitive cheer groups but is also very similar in the way that we engage in healthy competition for our participants and teaching the lessons of fundamentals and success through team work.
Overall, Pop Warner is a national organization that focuses on spirit, teamwork, scholastics and fun and by becoming a member of North Texas Pop Warner Cheer and Dance children have the opportunity to build lasting friendships, develop character and good sportsmanship and have the opportunity to obtain academic scholarships. In addition to the individual opportunities. Pop Warner cares about the overall health and safety of children, so part of being on a Pop Warner team we are required to adhere to several rules regarding scholastics, practice time and attendance, team placement/age, equipment,safety,and much much more.
